The first in a series of Chris Roberts/David Braben interviews was posted on Youtube yesterday. They talk about the reasons for the death of the space combat genre, why they are using crowd funding and what they are looking to achieve with their new games. Braben clearly has more to gain from these being in the middle of his Kickstarter and it’s good to see him getting a publicity boost from a would-be competitor. Chris Roberts is a fan of Elite himself of course.
